Its my last day at DepEd so the final tasks that I have to do is to submit all my outputs to Sir Alvin via gmail. Also he asks me to send the files of every region separately. Done with DepEd, yey!
I’m almost done updating the master list of DCP recipients and just waiting for the respond of other schools. While waiting, I help on the OSEC unit so that I can lessen their tasks even for a day.
Because I am near to the end of my internship at DepEd, Sir Alvin asks me to provide a summary of all the data I have updated on the master list. These includes the summary per region, summary per school property custodian and summary per readiness of the DCP recipient.
Because other schools haven’t send their data yet, he just give me some errands like printing the files he needed, ask for some office supplies, give the papers to the technical service, give the papers to the procurement and so on. I also assists Jean on accompanying Bam, news correspondent of GMA, because he has a scheduled interview with USEC Matteo.
Haha I was late again today, my boss told me that it is okay but next time It is better if I will not come when it is already lunch time. LOL! His schedule was full again with meetings inside and outside the Deped Compound so he just let me use his PC and do my assignments and researches. He just left one instruction: Answer the phone XD
Sir Alvin was very busy these days so he gave me more tasks to do. He handed me his laptop and told me to do all the processing of data of DCP recipients. This processing starts from sending e-mails to the schools to downloading the sent back form to updating all the data needed and save it to a specific folder. And I have to do these process for almost 2 000 schools! 0.0
Since the tasks that was given to me are done, I helped my classmates at the OSEC- communication unit in delivering the gifts of Bro. Armin- the wooden “ULOK’s”. Jean and I were partners and were assigned to deliver the gifts in ADB, Japan Embassy, Vietnam Embassy and US Embassy that are located in Manila except for ADB. We got stuck in heavy traffic on our way back to the office that is why we got home late, its tiring but fun!
Today I am in the office ALONE. Three men occupies the office, one near the door is Sir Frank, Next to him is Sir Marvs followed by Sir Alvin, my boss. The fourth table is the one that I occupy since it is vacant. As of now, the three men were out and the only one left is me. Earlier, the phone kept ringing and I’m hesitant to answer it because I don’t know what will I answer if the caller has a question. Luckily, almost all of the phone calls are for the persons on the next room. What I have to do is just transfer to them the call and if there were questions that I don’t know the answer I leave it to them.
Me alone in the office. My boss fly to Dumaguete for DCP orientation, he will stay there for two-three days. He gave me instructions on what will I do for the next three days. Hopefully I can finish those before he came back.
My classmates are missing in action. New Year Celebration has just end but here I am sipag-sipagan ang peg. there are still schools that haven’t send their data yet so i was not able to continue my work. My boss just instructed me to classify his papers and arrange it according to its date. I did what i’m told even if it is boring because I have no choice. Besides, you also do this when you got a real job right? right.
